Nurse Manager (RN) – Labor and Delivery

We are a full-service acute care hospital.

What you will do in this role:

  • The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the department director with planning, directing, supervising and evaluating all care in the Labor and DeliveryUnit on a 24-hour basis.
  • The nurse manager manages, coordinates and controls all aspects of the unit in order to provide quality patient care and maintain high standards of professional practices in the clinical setting.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners as an RN.

  • BSN is required.

  • A minimum of two (2) years clinical L&Dexperience is preferred.

  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification

  • Current NRP.
