We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst in support of an outstanding client in Austin, TX. As an OCM Analyst, you will be planning and executing project-level change strategies, including the measurement of change readiness and long-term sustainability. In addition, your duties may include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Working closely with the project managers, business relationship managers, risk managers, application development team, quality assurance team, and other technology partners (DBAs, SAs, etc.) to provide complete the IT Operations' tasks.
  • Developing and implement communication and training strategies and deliverables.
  • Using creativity in producing videos, newsletters, brands, and other collateral that assists the project in effective communication.
  • Developing effective and clear communication in various forms including talking points, presentations, articles, etc.
Required experience, skills, qualifications and attributes
  • 5+ yrs. experience with OCM methodologies such as PROSCI which includes development of such deliverables as Stakeholder Analysis, Change Impact Analysis and Communications Assessments.
  • 5+ yrs. experience developing work products such as change management plans, communication plans and training plans.
    • Execution of plans and work products is expected with stakeholder engagement and end-user adoption critical to success and measured through metrics and reporting (created by the OCM Analyst).
  • 5+ yrs. experience in providing project teams with coaching and guidance based on industry best practices to improve cross-functional coordination and communication during project execution.
  • 5+ yrs. experience working with and reach all levels of employees.
  • 3 yrs. experience working on large efforts with Agency-wide impact.
  • 3 yrs. experience creating weekly executive summaries of all project statuses including highlights for leadership's attention.
    • Generating high-quality, tailored reports and analysis to inform the decision making of senior leadership.
  • 3 yrs. experience developing content for dissemination to non-technical users.
  • 3 yrs. experience supporting the development and maintenance of relationships within ITD and across the agency.
    • Developing and executing communication plans for the CRM to communicate projectwork, priorities, and impacts across the agency in an effort to provide transparencyinto CRM projects.
  • 3 yrs. experience providing project teams and users with documentation based on industry best practices to improve understanding of technical changes.
  • 3 yrs. experience contributing to an inclusive environment that values differences by building and maintaining collaborative relationships with team members, peers, and ITD leaders.
  • Actively embodies ITD values and behaviors including accountability, ethics, and best-in-class customer service. Contributes to a culture of trust and transparency by sharing information broadly, openly, and deliberately.
  • 3 years supporting the vision for Engagement, Culture, and Communications.
    • Working closely with team members and management to implement and support effective solutions for change management.
    • Maintaining currency with technology, standards, and best practices.
    • Supporting process improvement efforts within the team and across ITD.
  • Texas Resident

Preferred Skills, Experience, qualifications, and attributes:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Communications,Organizational Change Management or related field.
  • Marketing and/or corporate communications experience.

Working remotely is allowed in accordance with department policy if located outside the Austin, TX metropolitan area. If within the Austin metropolitan area, a hybrid work location is in effect with at least one day onsite required.This is a long-term contract opportunity in Austin, TX.
