Job DescriptionReporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Operations is responsible for supporting overall planning, direction, and control of accounts within a region, normally generating $90M+ in revenue. This individual will be accountable for galvanizing a team under a common growth and operations platform, and ultimately drive improvement in service, client retention, operational efficiency, revenue, and margin for the overall portfolio. The incumbent of this position will develop and maintain the overall strategy, priorities, and direction for operations within the area.This key leadership role is accountable for execution of our General Management program, with a focus on service excellence, leading our people, growth, productivity, and delivering financial commitments. Key success measures include Customer Satisfaction, Client Loyalty, Employee Engagement, Revenue, EBIT, and Margin.Job Responsibilities
Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients, and consumers
Ensure adoption of all Aramark processes and systems
Understand performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends
Educate teams on key levers to improve margins
Ensure unit managers maintain a safe and healthy environment of clients, customers, and employees
Drive new sales growth within existing client base and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to our clients
Develop short- and long-term operational strategies in partnership with senior team members and lead the design, development, and execution of those strategies to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective manner
Maintain close working relationships with partner group in functional areas, including Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance
Fleet oversite including operations, maintenance, and safety
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred with a minimum of 5+ years of Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in warehouse, service / equipment maintenance management, route operations or related operations
Proven leadership experience including P&L responsibility within the hospitality, retail, facilities, direct store delivery or food and beverage industries
Demonstrated leadership skills with a broad knowledge of management practices, business judgement and client/consumer interaction
Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills to work with all levels on the organization from the front-line associate through leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
Models and leads Service STARS culture and safety leadership and all key initiatives relating to these core values, to provide a positive Market Center environment
Ability to lead in a diverse environment with a focus on client and guest service
A valid driver?s license
