Purpose Statement Responsible for assisting the Store Leader in achieving the store’s budgeted sales and profit goals. Ensure that all merchandise is accurately picked, packed, received, stocked and backroom is maintained per SFS & OSE standards. Key Accountabilities 1. Ensures 100% SFS accuracy with all customer shipments. 2. Facilitates the picking and packing of merchandise according to SFS and OSE standards. 3. Ensures that the store is well stocked and SFS inventory counts are accurate. 4. In partnership with Store Leader, ensures staffing levels are appropriate for processing SFS orders. 5. Ensures that the backroom and equipment is organized and clean per SFS & OSE standards. 6. Maintains organization and inventory of SFS supplies. 7. Prioritizes merchandise moving to sales floor and areas to be stocked, including POG and end cap sets 8. Perform routine housekeeping tasks to maintain the stores appearance and meet OSE standards. 9. Ensures highest productivity levels are achieved for picking, packing, receiving, processing and stocking. 10. Trains and develops partners on proper SFS picking, packing, receiving, processing and stocking procedures, WIMR and food rotation practices according to Petco standards. 11. Abides by and enforces all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to those designed to minimize shrink. 12. Adhere to and promote established safety procedures. 13. Ensures the facilitation and accuracy/integrity of the Blue Dot program. 14. Directly supervises the SFS Specialist. Leads and coaches all store partners in providing great guest service and performing their assigned task with the objective of achieving budgeted sales. 15. Ensures RTV and Hazardous Waste processed are managed per Petco policy. 16. Communicate all situations and/or conditions that affect the store to the Guest Experience Leader and/or Store Leader (e.g. guest complaints, item requests, inadequate inventory levels) 17. Perform all special or other projects as assigned. Key Holder Accountabilities 1. Provide quick and courteous service to all guests by utilizing the GUEST Model throughout the store. 2. Ensure OSE standards are maintained throughout the store 3. Ensure that the store is opened and / or closed in accordance with established P&Ps as it applies to SFS operations. 4. In partnership with the Store Leader and/or Guest Experience Leader ensure proper store scheduling is being maintained to ensure guest packages are complete during scheduled hours. 5. Adhere to and promote established safety procedures. Education and Experience Education A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required Experience Previous experience in retail setting as an inventory leader, Dot.Com fulfillment leader, department leader, team lead, Merchandise Ops Specialist, SFS Specialist or store partner. Experience supervising store partners, or demonstrating an aptitude for training, motivation and sales techniques, analytical abilities as well as a professional appearance and demeanor. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pull 2000 lbs utilizing material handling equipment.
