Job Title: Oracle Architect

Location : Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 6 + MonthsArchitect Position:ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop systems requirements, design, prototype, implement and rollout solutions.
  • Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications for Cloud Financials applications and business system processes
  • Assists management staff across multiple teams, including, supervision, scheduling, work prioritization, drive productivity, motivation, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Works with Department Management teams to provide operational and projects planning, ensures deliverables are met.
  • Contribute to the implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials
  • Assist with Oracle Fusion Financials UAT, training, conversion and cutover activities
  • Provide front line support to Finance & Accounting department
  • Work directly with client’s SMEs to resolve application issues
  • Work with Oracle to resolve service requests
  • Create and maintain existing documentation to include configuration, test scripts, functional specs for reporting and integration
  • Assist with continuous process improvement and provide insights into best practices
  • Provide assistance in key system processes (e.g. process of monthly closing of subledgers, sub-ledger accounting)
  • Coordinate with Oracle and complete functional testing for Fusion upgrades
  • Provide day-to-day support of the Oracle Fusion FINANCIALS and/or ERP modules.
  • Responsible for configuration changes and/or implementing new modules to the Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud application.
  • Learn about Oracle Fusion Cloud releases and patches and communicate changes to “key” individuals.
  • Responsible for testing upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Act as an Oracle Fusion subject matter expert by providing best-practice guidance on FINANCIALS and/or Financial business processes.
  • Establish open, fluid, and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Create configuration and other supporting documents for implementation and day-to day support.
  • Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment.
  • Responsible for assigning work to themselves based on priorities and skillset.
  • Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgements.
  • Available to work weekends or late nights depending on business needs.
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications
