Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location: Austin, TX Duration: Fulltime Opportunity / FTE Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Location or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Experience in Oracle, Unix, and python. Experience in Oracle pl/sql, Query tuning. Preferred Qualifications At least 6 years of experience in Oracle pl/sql Skills. At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects. At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review. Strong communication and Analytical skills Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment Experience in working in Application Support projects earlier with tech stack Oracle, Unix, and python. Good analysis and problem solving skills Good hands on work experience in Oracle pl/sql, Query tuning and Optimization, working with analytical and date range functions in Oracle, Advanced Queues, DBMS jobs, knowledge of working with explain plan, AWR reports, using V$session tables, handling locked objects, understanding indexes and able to check for issues and fix it when reported in production environment directly Good understanding of unix commands and unix scripting Good knowledge of Python scripting, able to go through existing python scripts and understand the flow and fix the issues. Experience in working with Python Pandas data frames and Django framework. The role will also include development and enhancements of programs in lower environments and promoting them to production.
