Our cutting-edge technology and innovative approach make us a world leader in the aerospace industry.At the Grapevine Overhaul & Repair facility we perform a variety of composite/metal repairs on Sikorsky U.S. Military and commercial Main Rotor Blades and Tail Rotor Blades.What You Will Be Doing Sand excessive adhesive, primer and paint without damaging underlying composite and/or metal components. Perform visual examinations and apply Bondo or other filler materials necessary to maintain/acquire bodywork and contour specifications called out via engineering requirements and quality conformance. Measure, mix and apply different types top coat, paint, primer and fillers. Read and follow written work instructions. Ability to lift 25 lbs without assistance using proper lifting techniques. Utilize multiple different styles of air pneumatic sanding tools such as palm sanders and right-angle die grinders. Ability to achieve and verify quality coatings in accordance with engineering processes and procedures while recording material and measured quantities for documentation purposes. Good communication skills and ability to work in a high-paced diverse team environment.This is a safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. DOT’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.Desired Skills: Ability to read and decipher electrical and/or engineering drawings. Knowledge and experience with lean and continuous improvement methodologies. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
