Description Robert Half has an exciting contract employment opportunity for a Personal Injury Paralegal in Dallas, Texas. This role will involve conducting research on legal matters, maintaining legal documents, preparing legal reports, and assisting lawyers during trials. Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive research on various laws, regulations, and legal articles Organizing and maintaining legal documents in both paper and electronic filing systems Assisting in the preparation of cases by gathering and arranging evidence and other legal documents Writing detailed reports to assist lawyers in trial preparation Drafting legal documents such as contracts and mortgages Obtaining affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court Assisting lawyers during trials by managing exhibits, taking notes, and reviewing trial transcripts Filing legal documents such as exhibits, briefs, appeals with the court or opposing counsel Scheduling interviews, meetings, and depositions with clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors Utilizing skills in Adobe Acrobat, LexisNexis, Briefing, Personal Injury Plaintiffs, Insurance Defense, and Insurance Defense Litigation.Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and preparation Experience with LexisNexis for conducting legal research Ability to prepare and deliver briefings on various legal matters Knowledge of Personal Injury Plaintiffs law and related procedures Experience in dealing with Insurance Defense cases Familiarity with Insurance Defense Litigation and its procedures Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies or related field Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
