MoMo Italian Lake Highlands we are about to celebrate our 40th anniversary! We are neighborhood Northern Italian restaurant, firmly established in the East Dallas Lake Highlands Community. But being 39 years old we don’t sit back, so much so that we were awarded D Magazine’s Best Italian readers’ choice in 2022. Along side our traditional classic Italian fare we push to add interesting new items to the menu regularly, plus creating special menus for events such as wine and liquor pairings
We are looking for an experienced, talented competent and motivated individual to work with and support our chef. We are a scratch kitchen we make all of our own sauces, no premade stuff here (I feel silly even saying that, but you would be surprised). If you are creative and want to create new menus and specials that is a plus.
Job Requirements and qualifications etc
Minimum 4 years kitchen experience
Excellent written and verbal communicative skills
Available to work on weekends and nights (we are closed Mondays and all holidays)
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge and experience in all aspects of kitchen equipment and operations
Knowledge of kitchen safety and health compliance, audits and inspections
Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times
Coordinate with restaurant Executive Chef
Maintain recipes data base integrity
Hands on operational trouble shooting
Pay is based on experience and skill level.
