Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Steel Field Crew Leader to join our team on a part-time or as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in commercial structural steel projects and possess strong leadership qualities to guide and manage our field crew effectively.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a field crew in executing structural steel installation and erection tasks.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Provide on-site technical expertise and problem-solving solutions as needed.

Train and mentor junior crew members to enhance their skills and productivity.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial structural steel construction.

Proven track record of successfully leading field crews in similar projects.

Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, and installation techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
