Join our team as a Patient Account Representative.In this full-time role, we offer a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.As a Patient Account Representative , you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the seamless flow of medical claims processing.Responsibilities will include: Claim Monitoring and Resolution: Proactively monitor and track claim statuses, promptly identifying and resolving rejections or denials. Insurance Follow-up: Conduct regular follow-ups with insurance companies to check on claim statuses and promptly resolve any outstanding issues. Claims Appeals: Review and appeal denied claims, adhering to deadlines and requirements to maximize reimbursement. Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance regulations, billing guidelines, and coding updates to ensure compliance. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and ensure adherence to payer requirements. Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyze reports related to billing and collections, identifying trends and areas for improvementWhat You Will Need :· High School Diploma or equivalent required.· 1+ year experience working in healthcare revenue cycle role.· 1+ year medical provider experience working with CMS-1500 claims, appeals & denials.· Strong communication and problem-solving skills· PC skills in a Windows environment are required specifically Microsoft Word and ExcelWhat Would Be Nice to Have :· Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is essential for job responsibilities.Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision.The annual salary range for this position is $37,600.00-$56,400.00.
