Patient Care Aide

A caregiver provides assistance to individuals who are unable to perform basic daily tasks due to illness, injury, disability, or aging.

Their duties include:

Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).

Administering medications.

Providing companionship.

Following the patient’s prescribed healthcare plan.

Encouraging self-care and independence.

Cleaning the home overnight while residents are asleep.
