Payroll Clerk

Description Our client, based in San Marcos, CA, is currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Payroll Clerk with at least one year of experience to join their energetic team. A college degree is required for this position. Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll on a regular cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Data Management: Manage the company's payroll database by ensuring all payroll information is up-to-date and accurate.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.

Reports Generation: Prepare regular payroll reports for review by management.

Query Management: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Team Collaboration: Work in a vibrant, energetic team environment, contributing to a positive workplace culture

Requirements

College degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

A minimum of one year of experience in payroll processing.

Excellent skills in computation and data management.

Good knowledge of payroll software.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential information.

Strong interpersonal skills and a vibrant personality.
