Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on the accurate processing of multiple types of payroll across various business units and countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes for both contract employees and salaried staff, utilizing a variety of accounting software systems. Responsibilities: Processing weekly 4 types of payroll: Salary, Hourly, Weekly, Bi-weekly, and semi-monthly across 2 business units Managing payroll for contract employees, salaried staff, and hourly workers with timesheets Handling US and Canadian Payroll for a significant number of employees Utilizing various Accounting Software Systems, including ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, and Kronos Timekeeping System Administering 401k - RRSP Administration and About Time Ensuring strong knowledge in time and attendance systems is applied Resolving any payroll related inquiries and discrepancies promptly and effectively Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee data Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Ceridian Knowledge of IBM AS/400 Proficiency in Kronos Timekeeping System Expertise in 401k - RRSP Administration Experience with About Time softwareRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
