Sierra-Cedar is seeking a motivated and experienced Oracle Human Capital Management Project Manager with experience in the Higher Education arena. RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides Oracle HCM Cloud Project Management services by leading Oracle HCM Cloud implementations in a higher education environment
- Provides PeopleSoft HCM Project Management services by leading PeopleSoft HCM suite implementations and upgrades in a higher education environment
- Designs and executes implementation and upgrade methodology, testing, budgeting, and project metrics, status reporting, executive and internal communications, and general daily management of key activities
- Change Management experience, a plus
- Leads groups in business process re-engineering, best practices, and customization issues
- Acts as the liaison between the internal project team, executive team, and other key stakeholders
- Tracks project progress and manages expectations through successful project completion
- Provides contingency plans to assure project objectives are met
- Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud solutions to clients
- Shares suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize Sierra-Cedar’s implementation methodology
- Supports business development activities
- Solid understanding and work experience managing large scale, complex PeopleSoft HCM or Oracle HCM Cloud implementations in a higher education environment
- Proven management experience on at least 3 large, complex, full lifecycle implementations
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2 or Oracle HCM Cloud
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and client expectations
- Works well with all levels from developers to key stakeholders
- Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of customer issues
- Clear and effective communication
- Consistently produce clear, concise status reports
- Builds confidence and trust with clients
