Training work hours: Full-time, Day Shift, may include some weekends and holidays.
Post Training Pharmacy Technician work hours: Full-time; Days, Evening or Nights with rotating weekends and holidays
Here’s What You Need:
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
Pharmacy Technician Trainee through Texas State Board (required)
RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician within 6 months (required)
Here’s What You Will Do:A Pharmacy Tech Trainee with Texas Health will ensure accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must also reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives.In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Pharmacy Tech Trainee will
provide timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so.
communicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork.
manages own time and share the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage).
complete other duties as assigned.
