Pool Concepts was established 28 years ago and continues to grow as a reputable and well-established company. We are looking to hire an experienced pool service technician to service and repair our customers' swimming pool equipment. We will provide you with a company truck during working hours and will consider after hours usage depending on circumstances. Your duties will include pool start-up and repairing and/or replacing light fixtures, leaks, and faulty equipment. Normal maintenance procedures such as backwashes and filter cleans will also be required as needed.

To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have adequate knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.

Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:

Driving the company vehicle to customers' location.

Maintaining service vehicle inventory.

Testing swimming pool water pH, and chlorine levels.

Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct pH level.

Replacing pool light fixtures.

Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for pools and spas.

Servicing and fixing faulty pool equipment.

Troubleshooting.

Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.

Pool Service Technician Requirements:

Previous experience as a swimming pool technician.

Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.

Knowledge of plumbing and equipment repairs.

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and Texas Residential Appliance Installers License (RAIL) is strongly preferred but not required.

Ability to lift heavy equipment.

Professional demeanor.
