Position: Power BI / Azure Analytics Developer - C#, T-SQLLocation: Houston, TX Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 + Excellent Benefits Job Description:This Client is looking to bring on an Analytics Developer to the IT team. You will design, develop, configure, document, test, and maintain software that supports the enterprise.The client is transitioning from older Silverlight functions into PowerBI and the Azure platform.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain custom applications to support various departments.Coordinate and assist in Azure Cloud Projects and implementation.Assist members of other departments with their minor coding projects.Demonstrate flexibility during times of change and the ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.Change software so that system performance will meet objectives.Analyze problematic code to find causes of errors and revise programs.Develop software prototypes.Convert designs and specifications into computer code.Manage the Development Team in a low-code environment.Recognizing patterns from previous work.Support existing ETL processes.Develop new ETL/ELT processes (Automation/Analytics).Develop a variety of dashboards on Power BI.Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, maintenance, and quality.Design and execute software test plans.Dashboard reporting services (KPIs monitoring).Manage software projects.Qualifications:Experience with coding in C#.Experience in coding with Transact-SQL, creating queries, designing tables, and stored procedures.Experience with SSIS.Experience creating web applications using ASP.NET.Project management experience.Cloud Architecture experience.Experience with Power BI.Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions.Experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure:Azure Data Factory.Azure Databricks.Azure SQL server & On-Premise SQL server.Azure Monitor.Experience consuming web services in an application.Experience creating web services.Database architecture experience.Experience with Team Foundation System.Experience with Silverlight would be an enormous plus as the client is transitioning older Silverlight functions into PowerBI & the Azure platform.Plusses:Experience with Azure DevOps.Experience with JavaScript.Experience with VB coding.Understanding of Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions and ciphers.
