Financial Data AnalystIrving, TX 75039 Must work on-site 5 days/week.Direct hire / fulltime @ salary range: $100k-$125k + Bonus + full benefits.

Need a strong and very experienced candidate with a ton of Power Bi experience, NetSuite experience is preferred. The Financial Data Analyst/Data Warehouse Manager will be part of the Accounting and Finance group and will be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data and providing insights into business performance and trends. The position will also routinely create ad-hoc financial analysis, work directly with external auditors, and prepare materials for Senior Management and across field and corporate support teams. Responsibilities
  • Builds financial databases by identifying sources of information, assembling, verifying and backup data.
  • Assisting the finance team in the preparation of monthly financial statements and dashboards.
  • Perform divisional and product P&L review which includes providing variance explanations for significant year over year differences.
  • Assists the finance team in the preparationof financial reports by collecting, formatting, and analyzing information to help identify business and process improvement opportunities.
  • Provides ad-hoc financial analysis to assist in decision making for executive management.
  • Work in a team -based setting to provide financial and operational value-add reports for utilization by executive and filed management
  • Support the delivery of external auditor requests as well as providing reports used in monthly close processes.
  • Responsible for running queries, identifying relevant insights and compiling reporting packages and statistical packages for presentation to upper management.
  • Collects, organizes, analyzes and disseminates significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Other responsibilities may include improving current methods used in the collection of data from other parts of the company while retaining the essential integrity and security of the information collected.
  • Research customer contracts to verify all transaction details.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data.
  • Address and resolve processing issues in a team setting.
  • Partner with multiple groups to define business objectives (KPIs) and build dashboards that support ongoing reporting and analysis of results against those objectives.
  • Builds data pipelines to prepare aggregated results for dashboards.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify, reports, and fix data quality issues using sustainable and best practice tools and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst (Finance and Accounting experience a plus)
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting platforms, MS Power BI and Dynamics
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, SSRS Reporting of at least 2-4 years
  • Experience writing and managing stored procedures, views, and functions, that rely heavily on analytics functions
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (Macros, VBA, V-Lookup, Pivot Tables etc.)
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Excellent analytical, technical accounting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment
  • Strong math and statistical skills
  • Team mentality, perseverance, time management and strong prioritization skills
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills who can think creatively and can tell a story with data and make strategic recommendations to management
