The MHS Consultant will be responsible for supporting engagements in DoD. Our healthcare data analytics consultants help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This high performing team works with clients to implement the full spectrum of data analytics and data science, from data querying and data wrangling, to data visualization and dashboarding, to predictive analytics, and machine learning. Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve operational effectiveness.Our consultants focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.Responsibilities:· End-to-end development of PowerBI dashboards · Update and maintain existing PowerBI dashboards· Develop Python code for data normalization · Present reports/dashboards to senior leadership and clients to drive strategic priorities · Conduct data quality analysis; reconcile and present data discrepancies to all level of stakeholders · Perform quality check and review the outputs against quality standards and proactively seek to improve performance and accuracy · Work with all level of the organization, including executives and other business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.· Providing technical expertise in PowerBI and dashboarding from requirements gathering to publication · Effectively communicate complex requirements to both internal Guidehouse teams as well as clients· Training end-users on current and new functionality.· Maintain/update dozens of Excel workbooks using multiple macros· Develop design and methodology documents for analytical solutions

Required:· Bachelors degree in B.S./B.A. in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Data Analytics, or similar quantitative discipline.· Must be U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance· Minimum of

two years of experience developing with PowerBI · Speaking to PowerBI current capabilities and responding to design feasibility questions, quickly turning out proof of concepts where custom work is needed in both agile and waterfall methodologies · Designing visualizations as per business requirements and knowledge on User interface and User experience· Providing technical input and effective data analysis to support the requirements and development.· Experience analyzing large and complex data sets, with strong aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis· Basic proficiency in Python· Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques· Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications · Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.· Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical and technical documents and explain those findings to all levels of the organization both internal and clients· Demonstrates abilities and success with identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of firm services; preparing concise, accurate documents
