Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in San Antonio, TX. The candidate filling this role requires a broad array of knowledge and skills heavily focused on systems administration and system engineering working with team members providing direct support at a customer site.

Responsibilities include:Provide operations and sustainment for current and future platform baselines and associated continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline activities including Tier 2 and Tier 3 support to operational cyber systems. Tier 2: solve basic technical problems, investigate elevated issues, seek solutions related to the problem. Prioritize the support/troubleshooting processes and effectively manage system sustainment. Tier 3: expert level troubleshooting and in-depth analysis. Provide subject matter expertise in their fields and implement limited research and development of solutions to new, unknown or unforeseen issues. Design and develop courses of action, evaluating each COA in a test case environment, and implement the best solution to the problem until a permanent solution can be delivered.

Maintain the continued operations of all production systems and the associating support infrastructure by performing technical tasks as prioritized by the customer and scheduled by the contractor technical leads. Work is performed following an agile process for planning and execution.

Basic Qualifications:
  • This position requires past experience and certification as follows
  • 5 years of software development or software scripting experience,
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with C or C programming languages.
  • Intermediate level programmer/developer experience for IT Ops including Docker or other container technology.
Additionally this position requires the candidate to possess a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and active DOD 8570 certification at or exceeding IASAE level 2 (CASP, CISSP, or CSSLP).

Salary Range: $96,400 USD - $144,600 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
