As a Principal System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.About the RoleAs a Principal System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.

Create Azure infrastructure pipelines and performs build/deploy SOLUTIONS and DESIGNS as well as developing into Non-Production and Production environments. Validates compliance, automation, security and other AT&T standards via cloud and code inspection tools and manual tests.

Provide Technical Support during application deployment lifecycle and production cutover as applicable through a warranty period up to 45 days.

Using technical experience on related work efforts demands 8-10 years of specific experience, training and collaboration across multiple business support areas and various levels of leadership.

Mentoring and leading experienced and junior level engineers (Sr Specialist, Senior, Lead, other Principals) in their work and providing guidance as Subject Matter Expertise.

Assignment and management of MULTIPLE short and long-term special projects that may include Non-Disclosure Agreements, highly visible projects and escalations to resolve issues or develop solutions.

Collaboration with multiple individuals and teams with varying technical skill levels. Identifying and presenting solutions and delivering in end products to customer (application teams). Working with architects, developers, production support, project/product managers, lifecycle managers, various software and hardware technologies to deliver on-time projects and outcomes.

Leading and training others with additional CRITICAL projects and expertise in other disciplines such as leadership, training and technical products as Microsoft Office 365.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and daily work tasks with limited guidance from supervisors.

Required Qualifications:

8-10 years of related experience.

Azure Infrastructure Engineering experience required

Experience in Public Cloud, migrations, builds, issues, support, automation.

Experience in building multiple versions systems addressing performance and scale.

Experience developing technical documentation on applications and systems.

Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams.

Desired Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.

Azure certifications

Our Principal System Engineering, earn between $141,300 - $211,900. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
