Principal Technical Consultant (Multiple Positions)

Diona (US) Inc. in Austin, TX has multiple openings for the tech position Principal Technical Consultant.

Responsibilities: Design, analyze, and provide effective solutions for product updates and merging of multiple product versions during the development stage. Further duties include: developing Cúram software and acting as a subject matter expert on IBM Cúram Social Program Management and IBM Cúram integration; developing extensions within the Cúram framework; designing applications based on identified architecture and support implementation of design by resolving complex technical issues faced by the IT project team during development, deployment, and support; designing, developing, and documenting system functionality and web services interfaces and modules using standard methodology and practices; analyzing the technical and business requirements to define the scope of development initiatives; anchoring proof of concept (POC) development to validate proposed solution and reduce technical risk; taking responsibility for project lifecycle from end-to-end including analysis, design, development, implementation, support and enhancement; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Austin, TX.

Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 5 years of experience in the job offered or related. 5 years of experience developing and working with IBM Cúram software; 5 years of experience working with at least five (5) of the following tools and technologies: Eclipse, Oracle11G, JAVA, JavaScript, CouchBase, GIT, Kafka, Angular, XML, WebLogic, Jenkins, WebSphere, JUnit, Apache Tomcat, and SVN; 5 years of experience working with client/server architectures and application architectures; and 5 years of experience working through the project lifecycle including analysis, design, development, implementation, support, and enhancement.

In lieu of a Master’s degree and five years of experience, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field plus seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related position.
