Responsibilities: Lead the electrical engineering development for wearable neurostimulation platform along with accessory devices Design low-power analog circuitry to interface with embedded systems (experience with boost converters, current controllers and prior wearable electronics design preferred) Architect, design and characterize battery and power management systems onboard the wearable device and accessory devices Engage and manage external contractors as needed Closely work with firmware + product teams to develop specifications, select components and develop schematics and layout Drive product from concept to manufacturing in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Design and develop basic firmware and software necessary to test or evaluate designs Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills Deep knowledge of low-power analog circuit design (PCB/discrete level) Expert-level familiarity with common design tools (Altium, Cadence, SPICE) necessary for schematic design, simulation and layout Confidential Prior experience developing wearable or low-power hardware (battery-powered) from concept to production Experience working with manufacturing houses Experience working with medical devices (familiarity with ISO, IEC standards) Hands-on and extensive experience in board bring up/debug from prototype to production stage (Preferred) Experience with wireless communication standards and protocols (BTLE, WiFi) (Preferred) Experience with battery charging circuitry- including wireless charging schemes (Inductive, Qi) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), Masters preferred Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role or in Electrical Engineering Advanced computer skills, including data analysis
