The Product Analyst is a critical team member, performing foundational support for all Product Management team efforts. You'll build upon your existing analytical skills, and push the limits on your ability to juggle, prioritize, and execute on tasks. To be truly effective in this role, you will work together with multiple teams from sales and client solutions to media activation to understand the needs of the business and support continuous improvement.

This role can be based in NYC, Bay Area or Plano, Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all product management efforts to develop products, services, and tools that are valued by our sponsors.
  • Maintain and enhance 1st party database of college sports fans; QA various data sources
  • Maintain and develop client reporting dashboards with Tableau
  • Document various business processes, identify inefficiencies, and focus on process improvements to support scaled operation
  • Perform various ad hoc analysis using a variety of data sources and tools to support product decisions and provide actionable insights on market trends
  • Support the users of our tools (sales, client services, media activation) with troubleshooting, etc.
  • Help define user requirements and use cases for new features
  • Facilitate the flow of product communication including, but not limited to, recurring status meetings, planning boards, and request tracking
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to deliver on client objectives and move the businesses forward

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent; course work in Computer Science is preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience (postgraduate or internship experience) in marketing, advertising, or related field
  • Exceptional critically thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly and function in a do-it-yourself environment
  • An analytical mindset, the ability to help transform vast data sets into compelling and actionable insights
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of principles of data-driven advertising and media dynamics is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, and other analytical tools is highly desired
