Our S4 Basis Design Lead will provide technical expertise and leadership for managing SAP S/4 Basis system maintenance, operations, and upgrades, including establishing ISO-compliant standards and requirements. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop SAP architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the systems are meeting corporate needs.
- Collaborate closely with product development teams and SAP functional domain leads to understand technical and business requirements and define roadmaps to achieve objectives.
- Supported systems will span various operating systems of Sybase and Linux along with SAP cloud and other cloud service provider platforms.
- Analyze and recommend best practice methods and toolsets for optimizing system performance and landscape synchronization processes
- Lead the team through the implementation of the IT roadmap
- Manage the overall system landscapes
- Support the technical system requirements of product development teams
- Documentation development and the creation of product deliverables
- 2+ years of experience leading the architecture of large-scale, complex hybrid S/4 HANA and SAP Cloud solutions
- 8-10 years of experience implementing, developing and managing a HANA Platform and HANA Database Administration
- Minimum of 15 years of progressively more difficult systems experience including, Deep understanding of SAP products and competencies related to UI development, workflows, BTP, mobility, network security and Basis
- Understanding of DevOps and its application in Solutions Architecture
- Ability to manage advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical and industry knowledge
- Utility industry experience is preferred
- Bachelor 's Degree in computer science, information systems or related field
