About the Role:

  • The Product Engineer, supports our Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted with the manufacturing production process engineering focusing on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods at San Marcos, Texas manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with cross-functional teams, delivering engineering support for the manufacturing plant and capital investment projects throughout the entire project life cycle
  • Lead various cost savings projects/initiatives to deliver conversion cost targets. Provide daily tactical support for the production unit.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to unlock throughput and employee engagement.
  • Participate on the plant environmental/compliance team and support safety initiatives as appropriate.
  • Ownership of cycle time data accuracy and improvement/reduction.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
  • Lean manufacturing
  • 3D modeling
  • Bachelors Degree (Engineering)

Desired Qualifications :

  • Assembly knowledge (work at automotive) Same
  • Anything sheet metal related Same
  • CAD

Location: San Marcos, TX

Salary Range: 90k to 110k/annum
