Product Owner Location: Plano, Texas Requirements: o Assist the Product Owner to create User Stories for inclusion into the Product Backlog o Ensure the language adheres to Scrum o Assist the Product Owner and Project Manager to prioritize the Product Backlog o Facilitate Story Point Estimation o Work with Product Owner for prioritized Epic User Stories o Assist the Project Manager throughout the User Story Lifecycle o Resolves impediments within their reach, escalate and track other impediments o Protects the team from external disruptions o Coach the team to self-organize and promotes continuous improvement o Facilitate Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Retrospective events o Ensure Scrum events are effective and Agile/Scrum values are upheld Qualifications : o BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related technical field or equivalent experience is required o Minimum 5 years as Scrum Master in large enterprise environments overseeing small to large teams directly and in matrix managed environments o Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with technical and non-technical teams alike at all levels including senior management o Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide the efforts of small or large teams to successful project completion o Ability to lead multiple Scrum teams at once, as required, and prioritize appropriately o Ability to work with minimal direction is a must. o Skills with standard Agile and project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Project, MS Office, Visio etc., o Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required o Technical background with expertise in system development/implementation and maintenance/support is a Plus o Project Management Professional (PMP) desired
