Position: Product OwnerLocation: Houston, TX (onsite)Duration: 6 months plus (CTH)No. of Positions: 2
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners.
- Builds, maintains, communicates the product roadmap.
- Presents technical processes effectively to all levels of the organization.
- Contributes strategic vision and manages complex transportation and IT projects.
- Displays understanding of E2E customer experience integration and dependencies.
- Performs in an agile environment, leading business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones, deliverables, while identifying opportunities and risks.
- Determines and documents business and user requirements, process flows, and specifications.
- Applies knowledge business analysis and system design methodologies.
- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Partners with business and technical teams to understand and implement product features.
- Drives user stories, feature assessments, gathering and documenting processes.
- Prioritizes sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing requirements of stakeholders.
- Collaborates with developers, testers, and scrum teams.
- Document’s requirements and reviews test plans with QA and other partner groups prior to requesting business user testing.
- Manages document repositories, maintenance and updates of project documentation library.
- Assists project team with gaining business user acceptance.
- Reviews progress and evaluates result accuracy and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), in computer science, MS, or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Eight (8) years of relevant work experience in addition to education requirements.
