PRODUCT SOFTWARE ENGINEER - DevOps Engineer

What makes this fun?In this very dynamic role, you are a DevOps Engineer designing, developing CI/CD pipelines to run application/software and services as containers and writing scripts to setup infra-as-code using Azure DevOps, Azure ARM/bicep, PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Services. Be an integral part of a team that is already working on these technologies, running heavy compute workloads in AKS and enjoy the opportunities for learning cool stuff, mentoring/knowledge sharing; experimenting via research activities and the fun and intrigue never stop!

Some of the things you will develop, work on and be responsible for:
  • Show initiative and motivation to solve problems, adapt to changes, and follow through on tasks
  • Work in Agile teams following Agile + SAFe methodologies to deliver high quality products on time
  • Create, maintain, and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for existing and new services
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to improve automation of code release workflows, infrastructure, code testing and deployment
  • Improve your skills daily via mentoring, brown bag sessions, and other group learning opportunities that you are always welcome to attend or even lead
The experience we look forward to you having:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as DevOps/System Engineer in a Windows and/or Linux environment
  • Successful track record delivering high quality code on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies and Azure, in particular
  • Experience building hosted applications in a large, multi-tier data center environment
  • Experience implementing CI/CD using Azure DevOps pipelines, Jenkins, or other equivalent technologies
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code using Azure ARM or Terraform or equivalent technologies
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI
  • Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes, AKS is preferred)
  • Experience with version control system such as Git
