Our associates are responsible for performing a variety of duties, depending on their assigned department and lab needs.  Production techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers.Associates observe data on job orders, sort and organize jobs, utilize RF scanning and perform other department specific tasks.We have production positions available in our Surface and AR (anti-reflective coating) Departments.Surface duties include:Backside coating - making sure lens is clean, spraying, wiping lens and loading in machineBlocking and Deblocking, block prepMachine operation, taping, generating, polishingLens washing - removing lens from block, rinsing, washing and drying lens to remove debrisAR duties (depending on experience level) include:Sort and clean lensesInspect lenses for imperfectionsUse ultrasonic cleaner to clean and rinse ringsOperate AR coating machineLoad lenses into sectors and machinesDownload lenses back into traysSandblast sectors and panels, clean coating machines
