Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Summary:As a Production Support Specialist – Quality Inspector, you will report to a Quality Supervisor and will be assigned to the internal Quality department to meet customer demands.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Inspect engines utilizing quality check sheets to ensure they are free from quality defects
Verifying correct alignment of engine components using engine schematics and part prints
Follow standard operating procedures and area specific work instructions
Assist departments with problem solving or improvement ideas related to assembly and inspection
Perform internal audits to help identify process issues and assist preventing defects
Submit and assist with the resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to operate a quality gate at a fast pace for the facility
Experience with Microsoft Office
Basic computer skills
Basic diesel engine knowledge
Top Candidates will also have:
Value stream flexibility
Auditing experience
Assembly line experience / manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
