Safety/Housekeeping - Keep shop and production areas clean and free of hazards or dangerous conditions Perform work area and production area housekeeping Follow all safety laws, and promote positive safety behaviors Perform safely in a manufacturing environment including identifying electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical hazardous conditions and locating and isolating multiple energy sources.

Planning Coordinate equipment availability with production to ensure maintenance is completed within required timeframe. Plan and implement project and maintenance work with minimal supervision Partner with production to identify windows for project and maintenance work Effective communication of equipment and control system operational status Able to estimate time required for project and maintenance activities Ability to be flexible in work assignments (i.e., tasks, hours, shift, days of week) Ability to prioritize work and respond to interruptions and urgent requests for assistance

Technical - Equipment / process control system fixing and documentation of corrections and change control activities Provide engineering and technical support for daily production operations. Provide technical support for safety and quality initiatives. Locate and diagnoses failures through in-depth data analysis and control system logic review Solving using advanced electronic equipment, isometric and P&ID drawings, diagrams, historical data trending (OSI PI), programmable logic controllers (Allen Bradley), functional specifications, operating and component manuals, and verbal/written instructions Complete preventive maintenance and corrective work orders for automation equipment Lead and implement equipment/process improvement projects, handle small-dollar (< k) project budgets Maintain detailed maintenance documentation and correction logs. Complete maintenance documentation at the time of maintenance completion. Assist completion of manufacturing non-conformance investigations and technical document writing Estimates labor and equipment costs, prepares purchasing requisitions, and handles electrical contractors regularly. Implement corrective and preventative actions to improve manufacturing's operational efficiencies and quality standing

Assist engineering with the design, installation, and validation of automated control systems for new or upgraded utilities systems, compounding processes, and filling and packaging equipment. Assist engineering with the execution and execution of Installation and Operational Qualifications, IOQs, and Performance Qualifications, PQs.

Interfaces - Coordinate/support other departments to ensure smooth execution of work. Provide technical advice to other manufacturing departments Transfer lower-level maintenance and equipment knowledge to production operators Capability to collaborate with the Quality department concerning maintenance and change control documentation.
