They will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, scoping level of effort and recommending services that provide successful outcomes for our customers.The successful candidate will be able to design and architect implementation and optimization solutions, assist customers with planning for large-scale transformations in technology and recommend the appropriate post sales resource teams to ensure client success. The candidates should be highly competent presenters with experience running virtual and in-person customer discovery workshops. Previous experience to include understanding and translating technical solutions into business value for C level executives. This position reports into the Director of Service Sales.Location: We are open to remote individuals who are located in the EST time zone. Your Impact

A sales background with quota-carrying responsibilities is desirable, reflecting your client-focused, trusted advisor approach

Your expertise spans various domains, including Firewalls, Security Proxies and Caches, as well as cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP

The person in this role will be supporting a large team of sales reps and must work as the Services technical resource along with the Service Sales Manager

Together the team will be responsible for driving services revenue in a specific territory

Proven experience working as an overlay resource to a core sales organization positioning services to large enterprise companies and creating project plans and detailed statements of work is desired

Domestic travel is required within the assigned territory

Apply subject matter expertise in training teams on Service offerings, QBRs, enablement, and other engagement activities

Your Experience

BS technical degree or equivalent military experience required

7+ years of technical consulting services experience, working within an IT manufacturer’s services sales organization preferred

Self motivated and detail oriented

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Ability to create technical documentation (SOWs, project timelines, etc) for sales and delivery teams

Superb organizational and prioritization skills

Ability to facilitate discovery workshops with cross functional customer resources and to prepare 1-3 year current state/future state roadmaps and services proposals

Sales experience with quota carrying positions desirable, with a quota driven attitude focused on client's best solution by being a trusted advisor

Preferred knowledge of Firewalls, Security Proxies and Caches, Cloud environments including AWS, Azure and GCP

Preferred knowledge of routing and switching within cloud environments

Preferred knowledge in the areas of public cloud architectures, cloud native security models, CI/CD, DevOps, firewalls, and other security technologies both from a technology and a business driver standpoint

Preferred understanding of DevOps, containers/kubernetes, CI/CD and the cloud native technology ecosystem

Security and/or DevOps certifications are a plus

Industry knowledge of security product market trends and directional awareness of our roadmap and technology development efforts, knowledge of competitor offerings and products

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $187,500/yr to $257,850/yr.
