Our client is looking for an experienced Program Manager for a full-time role. This is 100% remote.

Position Description

The Sr. Manager, Corporate Projects Office oversees and manages one or more programs comprised of multiple related projects or workflows that achieve a common set of business objectives. They will lead the development and tracking of integrated, related project plans with a common business objective.

The Sr. Manager, Corporate Projects Office creates business cases and plans with business owners while monitoring progress toward each milestone, thus, ensuring program requirements are met. They will recommend new projects, or depreciation of projects, in order to balance the interests of the business. They will identify, source, assign and manage resources, both internal and external, to successfully deliver the business outcome.

The Sr. Manager, Corporate Projects Office will drive program and project management best practices, policies, procedures, and processes. They will establish the standards and processes used to initiate, execute and report on the efforts being undertaken.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leads the development and tacking of integrated, related project plans with a common business objects.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent business implementations; manages issues, risks, trade-offs, communications and expectations.
  • Create business cases and plans with business owners while monitoring progress towards each milestone, thus, ensuring program requirements are met.
  • Recommends new projects, or depreciation or projects, in order to balance the interests of the business.
  • Creates and applies standardized project management methodologies, including project definition, planning, risk management, project control, and change management, to ensure a repeatable project delivery process.
  • Considers overall business objectives and employs cross-departmental resources as required to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Creates tools for project planning, delivery, management, tracking, communication and key performance metrics.
  • Monitors, tracks, and reports on the status of programs against budget, timelines, and scope to program/project teams and leadership.
  • Identify risk factors, contingency plans and communicate critical risk factors to management and other stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary to adjust the project scope, resources or timeline.
  • Creates and improves the delivery and results of programs/projects by developing program/project management, requirements management, and change management best practices, processes, tools, techniques.
  • Identifies, sources, assigns and manages resources, both internal and external, to successfully deliver the business outcome.
  • Supervise and lead project managers, setting and managing expectations to achieve desired project goals.
  • Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements
    • Proficient in MS Applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook
    • Strong project management skillset to successfully implement and lead complex projects
    • Experience in supervising and leading project managers
    • Experience in developing and deploying project best practices, policies, procedures and processes
    • Experience with project management offices and portfolio management processes
    • Able to work independently with little to no supervision
    • 10+ years project lifecycle experience with strong methodology, process and technical leadership, and familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology; MBA/Master's Degree preferred or equivalent job experience
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar preferred
    • PMI Program Management Professional (PMP) required
