Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research, and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees, and the public.KEY FUNCTIONSThe primary function of this position is to support MD Anderson's comprehensive guest management and visitor access strategy. This role manages all onsite visitor activity (i.e., business meetings, events, tours, etc.) and facilitates the institutional Tours Program enterprise wide. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders across all mission areas to ensure consistent, safe, and seamless processes. Maintains analytics and reports to accurately represent visitor activity on MD Anderson campuses and identifies opportunities for programmatic improvements.Impacts the institution's strategic objectives through partnership and collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders across the enterprise (i.e., patient care, research and science, education, support and administration, finance, etc.).Manages all onsite visitor activity related to business meetings, events, tours, etc. Ensures onsite visits are operationalized in alignment with MD Anderson guidelines and policies. Collects critical data on each visitor request, including duration, date, location(s) visited, types of areas accessed, number of visitors, requesting departments, requesting tour sponsors (when applicable), and other information deemed necessary to fully assess the landscape, needs, and impact of the guest management / visitor access program. Assists in the development and maintenance of a proper sustainable guest management / visitor access program that balances customer experience, safety, and security.Performs special projects and / or other duties as assignedRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field.Preferred Education: Master's degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field.Required Experience : Five years of relevant experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience or completed years of college coursework on a one-to-one basis.
