Essential job functions Strategic and Operational Planning and Execution
Assist CEO and Leadership Team in Creating and Executing Strategic and Operational Plans
Evaluate benefit industry trends and competition
Research target industry trends and characteristics
Research, evaluate and analyze opportunities and options
Consult with internal departments / business units including Compliance and Legal
Assist BMS leadership with P&L responsibilities for the division, including revenue and expense planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and accountability for performance against these plans
Financial Planning and Reporting
Assist CEO and Finance Team with Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist with Financial Analysis of Proposed Client Programs and Internal Initiatives
Contracting and Regulatory Compliance
Assist Sales Team in Identifying Key Contractual Terms and with Contract Negotiation
Serve as the Business Unit Leader on Regulatory Compliance working with Aon Compliance and Aon Legal
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum of 10 years of professional work in relevant areas
Strong results orientation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with hands-on involvement.
Manages time and resources effectively through strong organization, multi-tasking, delegation time management, and project management skills.
Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest quality and results.
Exceptional interpersonal skills capable of interacting with all levels, including outside partners, vendors and customers.
Ability to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and adapt strategy to changing conditions
Understand business implications of decisions; display orientation to profitability; align work with strategic goals
Travel (up to 40%) required
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, MBA preferred
Technical:
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite applications (Word, Excel etc.)
Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $155,000 - $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to the base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
