The Program Manager (PM) role, within the Americas team, is accountable for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders for our business unit, Connected Aviation Solutions (CAS) products & services, to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and program performance. This role works closely with internal stakeholders from Business Development, Technical Sales, Product VSLs, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Customer Support to ensure our programs are executed successfully, and the voice of the customer (VOC) is clearly communicated. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless, frictionless & effortless Customer Experience (CX) is delivered at every touchpoint in the customer’s journey within CAS. The ideal candidate will serve as the face of the organization to customers and manage various program value streams from geographic, business or product category standpoint including holding accountability for that value stream’s P&L. In this role, you will oversee program life cycle including pursuit, order capture, implementation, and support phases of a variety of small-to-mid scale programs. It is critical you can balance priorities and optimize program performance in a highly matrixed environment. This position requires both technical acumen and leadership, as you navigate challenges, mitigate risks, and drive the successful delivery of mission-critical systems. This role is Hybrid (3 days/week on site) based in Annapolis, MD, Charlotte, NC or other Collins sites throughout the US. What You Will Do:

Effectively manage across matrix organizations to execute program deliverables while meeting scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Work closely with Sales and Technical Sales teams on new customer pursuits, bids and proposals, contract negotiations, financial business case development and program requirements to drive contract execution.

Work closely with Product, Engineering and Technical Support teams on executed contracts to meet contractual deliverables ensuring positive customer experience and program P&L commits are fulfilled.

Proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities, working with stakeholders to develop contingency plans.

Implements change management best practices to monitor and control program deliverables.

Review Voice of the Customer (VoC) with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and strong customer message is embedded in product development and program planning & execution processes.

Lead internal and external Program Management Reviews on a regular basis to status stakeholders on program performance, issues, and mitigation actions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Experience with managing a P&L, driving value stream strategy for business growth and customer satisfaction.

Experience within the aviation industry such as OEMs, airlines, suppliers, & aviation community of interest.
