job summary:

2 to 3 years directing or leading a project teams (PMP Certification Req)

- 3 to 5 years leading unique non-overlapping projects. (PMP Certification Req)

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field or 5 years of professional experience as a Program Manager directing or leading a project teams. (PMP Certification Req)

- Project Management Professional certification or the ability to seat and pass the Project Management Institute PMP Certification test within 160 days of hire.

- Knowledge of Product Development Life Cycle Processes preferred

- Wireless communications background required. LMR experience preferred.

responsibilities:

- Interfaces directly with the customer through the entire process of the project; presenting and managing the implementation plan while acting as the primary contact for any project related issues. Team building and leadership skills are a must.

- Working with Subject Mater Experts (SME) establish risk analysis & mitigation plan, work breakdown structures, schedules, financial plans.

- Forecast revenue, track schedule, risks, product cost, and project expenses

- Drive execution of the project and key milestones ensuring company and customer expectations are met. - Coordinate across all required disciplines/functions - to include but not be limited to Field Services, Finance, Purchasing, Order Entry and Staging Departments.

- Generate and track integrated program schedules using MS Project 2013 or later.

- Facilitate effective communication across the organizations, both verbal and written.

- Drive development of 3rd party contracts (Contract, SOW, Schedule, etc)

- Managing designated 3rd party contracts controlling and authorizing specific work, approving work, and managing contract details to include payments.

- Prepares and presents applicable management reports and evaluations including technical, financial, business, and logistical reports to both corporate shareholders and/or customers

- Responds to special assignments/projects as directed by management.

- Accountable for overall profit and loss of job (Gross Margin) and customer satisfaction.
