You belong here.Position Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required Master's Degree Preferred 5 Years Trauma related experience, which includes at least 3 years direct clinical care Required 3 Years progressive leadership Preferred Prior trauma pogram administration experience PreferredPosition Responsibilities Texas Health Program Manager, Traums Services provides leadership and direction for the hospital’s Trauma Program, delegating activities as required for safe, effective operations.In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Program Manager, Trauma Services will: Coordinate management across the continuum of Trauma care, which includes the planning and implementation of clinical protocols and practice management guidelines, monitoring care of in-hospital patients, and serving as a resource for clinical practice. Monitor and evaluate the continuum of Trauma care from the point of EMS entry to discharge. Ensure implementation of policies, procedures, and standards that direct operations, creates operational efficiency and ensures regulatory compliance of the Trauma program. Assist in developing interdisciplinary policies, procedures and standards that direct operations and facilitate the coordination of care. Develop and implement operating plans to ensure program objectives are realized. Responsible for the operation and oversight of the Trauma Registry Provides direction in emergency or crisis situations. Maintain current knowledge regarding disaster preparedness and emergency management. Participate in the development of Trauma care systems at the community, State, and/or National levels.
