Description We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team located in Houston, Texas. The role involves various duties, including updating project information, facilitating contract reviews, and assisting with project scheduling, among others. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and provides a vital link within our operations team.Responsibilities: Sourcing jobs and updating the bid calendar, including downloading project files Updating backlog with information from new jobs and remaining billing on current jobs Facilitating the contract review process and completing project set up Overseeing the approval process for product submittals from start to finish, including revisions Completing prequalifications and issuing certificates of insurance Pricing time and material work, and collecting it in the form of change orders issued to contracts Participating in or facilitating billing/job cost meetings Scheduling project start and end dates Assisting the field team in obtaining project information Managing and leading special projects related to bid management and proposal.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations processing or similar role Proficiency in data processing Experience with accounting functions within a business environment Knowledge of budget processes and financial forecasting Experience with check processing Ability to prepare bid proposals and manage bid requests Experience with accounting for construction projects Skills in making expense projections for business operations Demonstrated ability to lead special projects Experience in bid management Ability to attend pre-bid meetings and communicate effectively with potential clients.
