Project Manager AMDOCS Dallas, TX (Candidate should be local) 6-8 years of strong PM background Telecom IT Experience must Telecom Billing Experience Great Advantage Ability to broker issues/decisions, analytical, lead to drive and track all the activities and Readout to leadership Description: The Project Manager leads and manages complex projects, taking ownership of their successful completion to meet the planned business objectives. Manages multiple projects with accountability for delivering the client requirements. The project requirements include the ability to manage a variety of dependencies and integrated functions as well as interfacing with external stakeholders. Has accountability for communicating the project requirements and defining and executing project plans. Requires facilitation, problem solving and prioritization techniques. Effective risk mitigation and issue management techniques will be required. Must have the ability to track, interpret and action the flow of information from multiple sources. Must be excellent communicator, with ability to speak in terms that can be understood by all levels of staff. Will be accountable for establishing and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership for projects and cross-functional teams, with accountability for delivering complex projects, across multiple initiatives with varying time horizons.
• Organizes project work into sub-projects and project tracks as needed
• Manages business and stakeholder engagement/communication.
• Creates project plan (scope, communication, schedule, risk, budget management, etc.)
• Monitors progress, and prepares, reviews and shares meaningful project status reports periodically with all key stakeholders, project resources, and contributors
• Has working knowledge of software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and Hybrid processes.
• Establishes and maintains project level schedules and milestones which identifies dependencies
• Collaborate with respective teams to manage dependencies (including with 3rd party vendors)
• Verifies achievement of project deliverables
• Utilizes best practices
• Proactively manages risks and issues
• Establishes performance metrics
• Serves as an escalation point project team members
• Drives the project to completion / acceptance with key business stakeholders and leaders
• Verifies deliverables and milestones are completed with quality
• Pro-actively monitors, highlights and facilitates resolution of potential project risks and issues
• Manages change control aggressively throughout the project. Provides input/justification for changes in project cost and timeline impacts
• Has working knowledge of software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and Hybrid processes.
