Title : Senior Project ManagerLocation : Austin, TXDuration : 9 + MonthsThis position is mainly responsible for managing a large-scale transformation and integration of data for analytics and reporting across the Agency. These responsibilities include developing project management plans; reporting progress to executive/senior staff; and providing recommendations regarding project risks/issues. The resource must have excellent soft skills and be an experienced Project Manager with proven technical knowledge to manage data transformation and implementation project efforts, business/technical recommendations, and communicating with all levels of stakeholders. Worker will also be required to manage staff defining business and functional requirements through various SDLC methodologies to implementation and working closely with the business to incorporate new functionalities to enhance and modify their current reports and processes as necessary. The worker must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Works under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Skills : Years Skills/Experience 10 Skilled in managing projects with technical experience with Data Pipelines and Analytics across large organizations to include developing and managing project plans and documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; and ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers and communicating status up to executive staff. 10 Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts; work with teams to devise solutions to problems; and prepare concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems and prioritize information and issues. 8 Previous experience working as a Project Manager coordinating Information Technology (IT) staff and the business stakeholders to define and incorporate data requirements standards for the business, business processes and IT systems to develop and deliver dashboards and reports. 8 Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors, stakeholders, and vendors. Must possess strong communication and presentation skills and strong teamwork skills. 8 Experience overseeing the development of project and technical artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the technical and SDLC processes. 5 Ability to appropriately summarize and escalate issues and develop and present weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conduct regular project team status meetings. 5 Experience creating and providing status reports, options and feedback to upper management and stakeholders. 5 Experience with assisting an organization in establishing, documenting, and integrating reporting system policies, processes, procedures and requirements to develop data dashboards and reports for internal and public consumption. 5 Experience developing written materials, including briefing documents, administrative reports, and PowerPoint presentations, for diverse audiences, including senior and executive management.
