Position Summary:Performs cross-functional, enterprise, department and clinic-level project management. Responsible for the development and implementation of project management activities in support of UT Physicians and COACH projects. Utilizes extensive project management and Lean Six Sigma skills to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery and implementation of project deliverables while meeting stakeholder requirements and effectively managing project scope.Position Key Accountabilities:

Serves as a primary contact within COACH for consultation, planning, execution, management and reporting of multiple continuous improvement projects that align with the organization’s performance goals that have direct impact on operations. Maintains consistency in deliverables and develops effective plans to meet deadlines. Proactively engages necessary parties across the UTHealth enterprise.

Coordinates and performs assessments of the business via observation, data analytics, metric trends, financials, best practice measures, policies and procedures, evaluation of customer expectations, business drivers and regulatory guidelines to identify, plan and execute performance improvement projects. Documents processes current and future state to facilitate improvement. Keeps projects on track while managing risks and controlling quality.

Provides effective leadership, guidance and critical communications to key stakeholders and the project team. Coordinates synthesis of findings to prepare comprehensive reports including recommendations and key messages into gold standard documentation and presentations: to assist appropriate leaders in developing and implementing solutions. Makes recommendations for and/or facilitates problem resolution where appropriate.

Serves as a project manager utilizing: proven best practice techniques and methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, execution of data manipulation and analytical analysis to support leadership’s decision-making processes. Responsible for coordinating and providing effective presentations in-person and electronically to leadership and employees. Works with internal UTH leadership, UTH departments and vendors to coordinate, plan, assign and review project plans and deliverables.

Identifies needs, coordinates and develops policies, procedures, and protocols. Analyzes established COACH processes and procedures for continual improvement. Facilitates and/or makes recommendations for improvements, coordinating project teams and engaging appropriate leaders.

Certification/Skills:Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, certification preferred. Experience with Project Management techniques, certification preferred.
