We are currently hiring a PMO Manager to assist and advise leaders, managers, and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches within a fast-paced, data security and data marketplace environment. This is a great long-term project with a global leading automotive company. Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include support, maintenance, and delivery of small to large projects, financial/budget oversight, resource management, contingents and vendor management, and business case development
  • Responsible for driving analysis and data reports for the PMO organization
  • Work closely with the PMO team members in analysis, problem-solving, nation, and sustaining of assigned initiatives
  • Successful administration of project management framework, processes, and tools
  • Collation of status reporting across multiple programs and business functions
  • Effective tracking and communication of project status and metrics
  • Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools
  • Responsible for the forecasting and planning of an IT Program that includes multiple projects of varying complexity
  • Work directly with project teams to define project scope, prioritize tasks, and resources
  • Project liaison for internal/external audits
  • Coordinate weekly status meetings and agenda, conduct project meetings, detail minutes, update project plan, and follow up on closure of action items/deliverables
Requirements:
  • Proven PMO experience and knowledge of project management
  • Support the project managers and project teams with training, mentoring, and career development
  • Collect and archive the documents from completed projects and analyze them for trends
  • Provide a knowledge management system that gathers all project-related information and makes it available in a readily-accessible, useful format
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgment, assertiveness
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large relationship-building
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to plan and monitor all tasks and be able to articulate status at any time
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Projects is a must
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OrangePeople-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OrangePeople Account Management as requested.
