Description We are offering a contract for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant role in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities: Overseeing the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of multiple concurrent projects within the energy and natural resources sector. Defining project objectives and scope for each phase of the project, ensuring quality control throughout the project's life cycle. Effectively acquiring and managing resources, coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects/products according to plan. Demonstrating strong leadership qualities including flexibility and adaptability to change. Managing infrastructure projects related to Databases, Windows Server, Clients, Data Center Moves, Active Directory, Infrastructure acquisition integrations. Organizing, conducting, and attending meetings with project team and stakeholders to facilitate all levels of project planning. Leading steering committee meetings with IT and Business leadership, as well as technical and requirements gathering sessions. Communicating and collaborating with internal and external customers as needed, managing expectations, presenting, and interfacing with stakeholders. Managing multiple projects concurrently, working with large teams and geographically dispersed members. Working with project managers of other teams to ensure overall business and operational requirements are met for company initiatives. Driving decisions, including difficult tradeoffs between resources, schedule, and functionality. Working with third-party integration teams to coordinate integration and testing. Creating and maintaining relationships across the organization.
