Proposal Specialist III

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Proposal Specialist III to work in collaboration with the West Region business development and operations team on pursuits, including partnering in the preparation of formal and informal client solicitations, including expressions of interest (EOI), requests for qualifications (RFQ), requests for proposals (RFP), and pre-qualification efforts.This will be a remote position that can be based in, but not limited to: Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Austin, TX; Dallas; TX; Houston, TX: Cleveland; OH. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Spearhead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP/RFQ analysis to final submissionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and craft compelling, client-focused proposalsDevelop and maintain proposal templates, content libraries, and best practices documentationManage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standardsAnalyze win/loss data to refine proposal strategies and improve success ratesMentor junior proposal team members and provide guidance on best practicesCoordinate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and persuasive technical contentConduct thorough reviews and edits of proposals to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance with RFP requirementsDevelop executive summaries, past performance narratives, and other key proposal componentsStay current with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs to inform proposal strategies
