Python Engineer

An exciting company in the education industry is looking for a Python Engineer. Python Engineer will have the opportunity to create data-centric solutions to help inform teaching and learning across their network. Python Engineer will be coding and building systems with Python, Django and Flask. You will need to have a strong belief that a holistic engineering mindset (testing, code review, DevOps, CICD) is essential to building great systems. Position is 100% remote and offers solid benefits including matching retirement, flexible hours and unlimited PTO. This position is not open to sponsorship.

• Use Python, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, GNU/Linux & Google Cloud Platform services.
• Design and Develop scalable services and systems of services across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with other department including product, UX, data services, and support teams.

• 2+ years of hands on Python development experience
• Experience with at least one of the following: Kubernetes, Docker, or Django
• Must love to code in Python and be excited about solving problems
• Strong Communication skills
