QA Automation Engineer/QA Automation Tester/ QA Tester

Role: QA Automation Engineer Job Location : Remote Duration: Fulltime/ Permanent Direct Client requirement QA Automation Engineer (Need candidates with C# and .NET technologies) Position Description We are actively looking for experienced QA Test Engineers who are team-oriented and who love breaking software! You will be part of the development team at ESC Spectrum to help improve the quality of our existing products and building best testing tools. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will: Evaluate, create, maintain and document test procedures to perform system, regression, and performance testing. Implement, monitor, and report on key metrics to ensure the highest quality deliverable, identity areas to improve testing coverage. Continuously improve and streamline the testing automation process, establish and maintain good patterns, integrate them into the team's continuous integration and delivery pipeline. Prepare data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Collaborate with both development and product teams to build test plans and defect verifications. Investigate, reproduce, log and escalate reported defects. Facilitate ongoing process improvement to ensure test strategies, execution, and reporting methods are effective, efficient, standardized. Research emerging tools and methodologies to reduce manual testing effort. Isolating areas for advanced test management. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field. 4+ years in-depth software quality assurance testing experience (manual and automation combined), preferably related to .NET multi-tier client/server applications. 2+ years of experience in Python programming and can apply it to develop testing automation scripts. Prefer to have at least 1 year of experience with Powershell. 2+ years of hands-on experience developing manual/automation test plans and test scripts for business objects. 1+ year of experience using SQL queries and able to develop query-based test cases. Demonstrated strong knowledge of QA best practices. Habit of writing clean, re-usable & parameterized scripts for test cases, ensuring test coverage. Experience with test management and monitoring tools (such as TestRail), performance testing tools and automation technologies is a plus. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with code build, and version control tools (Git related) Great communication skills - facilitation, negotiation. Good team player, hungry and self-starter. Preferred: Experience in testing and deployment with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment environments, and tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy, etc. Familiar with VM tools, such as VMware, or docker containers Proven ability to integrate third party development / QA tools.
