We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a QA Engineer Automated role.

The Software QA Engineer performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) section of IT (Information Technology). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to do performance testing or to automate processing or to improve existing systems.The PAF Rewrite project will provide a new application to create, track and store Personnel Action Form (PAF) activities in a modern, flexible, supportable technology solution. This position will work with the Personal Action Form (PAF) Rewrite IVV team to provide the following Software Testing Services:1) Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test plan and test cases2) Create and execute manual and/or automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases executed, test results, and testing summaries in detail4) Perform manual and automation testing and data validation5) Create and perform Performance testing, Load testing and Accessibility testing6) Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data7) Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
